| Horses staying with us will receive good quality feed and hay twice a day unless otherwise instructed by owner. If your horse requires supplements, we will accomodate that as well at the owner's expense. Horses requiring post-surgical attention (whether, it's diet, exercise, or bandaging) will be cared for according to you and your veterinarian's instructions. If your horse requires riding/exercise as part of his recovery we will be happy to provide that service as well using our sand-filled walker, round-pen, or arena. Your horse(s) will only be handled/ridden by us - no outside workers. As horse owners ourselves, we understand individualized care and will provide the utmost comfort to your horse(s) while they are here. Our gates remain locked unless we know you're coming - we know who is on our property at all times since unfortunately, horse thievery still exists today! We live and work on the premises providing round-the-clock monitoring of your horses. | |||||

Sorry to impose a minimum week stay for first-timers but there are a couple of reasons behind it. Firstly, we practice patience when getting horses to enter the pool the first time so that it is a good experience for them. It may take us several man hours of coaxing the first go-round. Secondly, the horse really needs at least a week the first go-round to get the hang of swimming and receive its full benefits. And finally, we charge the increased fee for the first week because we swim them twice a day that week. Most new swimmers can only handle one or two laps at first, so the two-a-days give the customer and horse the most benefit. | |||
